I came to her looking to unblock some memories from my childhood—I had done consults with multiple Hypnotherapists, but something in my gut told me it was Marilyn. She uses a more scientific approach to hypnosis. I never thought I would ever be able to accept and move past these memories or manage my anxiety surrounding it…I am beyond thrilled.

I had an annoying cough for over a decade. After seeing many doctors who essentially said some people just cough, my husband recommended I try hypnotherapy. Marilyn was amazing, using hypnotherapy and havening techniques after three sessions, my cough is pretty much gone, and I couldn’t be happier!
Working with Marilyn was different from any other therapy I have done. I found the Havening technique to be helpful in learning to soothe emotions coming up from past challenging experiences. It was completely new to me, and Marilyn presented it in a warm, caring, and thoroughly professional way.
I had never been hypnotized before and never knew I could be. Marilyn successfully hypnotized me and I was amazed with the results.
I have been afraid of flying for decades. It was a commonly accepted fact among my family and friends that I was not getting on an airplane and that I would rather drive for hours (or days) than fly. I decided to give a therapy session with Marilyn a try. One session was all it took! I recently flew from Washington, DC to Washington State! On the way home, I had a layover, so I actually did three plane rides in one week!!
I pondered hypnosis for years and finally hit a low point in my life in which I knew I was desperate and needed outside help, outside the traditional methods of mainstream medicine. Marilyn is about wellness, physically and emotionally, as much as about hypnosis. The hypnosis allowed me to heal in many ways and to understand that I have full control of my actions and their consequences, negative and positive.
I was hesitant to consider hipnoterapias as part of my options when considering a change in unwanted behaviors. Since this field is not very common, I was concerned about my Christian values getting compromised. But how wrong we are when we don’t offer ourselves this opportunity. Now I’m living, not existing. Marilyn helped me to find the root of my problems. One of my major achievements in my life has been to feel the victory after 40 years of trauma. Now I can say I’m finally free and healed. Nothing to lose but to gain. Trust the process.
